I’ve had a few things building up for announcements, and I’d better get to them before I am even later than I am already!
First of all, a blessed Holy Week to you all. I’m sure you are all running around as crazy as I am. But I will take this every day over the loneliness of the cyber-holy week of last year. God be with each one of you.
Second, we have WINKEL next week. Can you believe it? It’s always kind fo fun to get together after the busy time, so I’m sure it will be a blessing to us. We had to do a little bit of swapping around, so here are the plans as they stand right now:
Winkel on April 6, 2021
|Light of the Valley Lutheran Church||9270 Bruceville Road||Elk Grove||CA||95758||916-691-3568|
Rev. Jay Reed, Presiding
Exegetical Study: Rev. Morris Stephens (if this is possible)
Topical Study: The Equality Act, with Rev. Kevin Foley
Second, this past Sunday was Rev. Mike Frankowiak’s last Sunday at First Lutheran Church in Yuba City. God’s blessings to you on your retirement, Mike! I believe that they are moving out of the area, but I can’t seem to find my note about that. If you are so inclined, please feel free to drop him a line and give him congrats for his years of service to our Lord.
That’s it for now, friends! We’ll see you on the other side of the Resurrection!
